Choosing where to stay is the single biggest decision for a Kumbh trip, because it decides how much time you spend in traffic. Think of it as choosing your location first and your hotel second.
Panchavati
Walking distance to Ramkund and Kalaram, and ideal for dawn visits. It fills first and costs the most during peak dates, and vehicles may not reach it on restricted days.
Nashik Road
Convenient if you arrive by train, and well connected by buses. You will need an auto or taxi to reach the ghats.
College Road and Gangapur Road
Modern hotels, restaurants and shops in a quieter part of the city, a short ride from Panchavati.
Trimbak
Ideal if your focus is Trimbakeshwar, Kushavarta and Brahmagiri. Accommodation is simpler and fills quickly on bathing days.
Vineyard areas
Best for rest and relaxation before or after the pilgrimage days, with extra travel time to the ghats.
