Pandavleni Caves

Over 2,000-year-old Buddhist rock-cut caves with city views.

The Pandavleni (Trirashmi) caves are a group of Buddhist rock-cut caves carved into a hill south of Nashik. They have prayer halls, monks' cells and old inscriptions from the Satavahana period. The climb is by about 200 steps and rewards you with wide views over the city and the nearby dam.
