Sadhana is among the best-known names for Nashik misal. The misal is cooked on a wood fire (chulha) and served with extra rassa, farsan, onions and pav. Expect queues at breakfast and on weekends.

Order a regular plate first and ask for extra 'kat' (spicy gravy) on the side if you can take the heat. Many visitors add a glass of buttermilk.
